Proposed Visit to Highgrove

From 2010 there is an entrance fee for garden tours at Highgrove. So an exclusive group tour for a maximum of 25 people costs £375 (£15 per person). A maximum of 2 vehicles is permitted, so we will need to organise a minibus or coach, the overall cost will therefore be in the region of £20 - £25 per person. We have provisionally booked a 1.5 hour tour starting at 10.05 am on Friday 6 August, which involves about 2 miles of walking; visitors can then go to the shop for teas/coffees. All visitors will need a photo ID (passport or driving license) or 2 utility bills with their current address. If you would like to come and are willing to pay a non-refundable fee in the region of £20 - £25, please drop a letter into the Garden Club box in E&S or email the secretary at info@malmesburygardenclub.org.uk no later than 31 March 2010. If we have 25 members willing to go, you will be notified in writing with a definite cost of the tour and transport.
